Byfield Gates
Our traditional five bar field gates with reverse diagonal bracing, are built using high quality planed Redwood timber for strength and durability. These gates are 70mm thick and have four 70mm x 19mm horizontal rails. These gates are manufactured in-house by one of our skilled gatemakers.
All of our gates are pressure treated green

All our timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests and carries full FSC accreditation, ensuring it meets strict environmental, social, and economic standards.
In addition, every piece of wood is pressure-treated with Tanalith-E Green, a high-performance preservative that provides long-lasting protection against rot, fungal decay, and insect attack. This treatment not only enhances durability and extends the lifespan of the wood but also maintains a natural appearance, making it a reliable and sustainable choice for a wide range of outdoor applications.
